Epcot

Wow, it's been a long time since I've posted. We've just been adjusting to everything. :) We did get to go to Disney a couple of times already. This last time, just a few days ago, we were able to go for 3 days. We got on property in the early afternoon and checked into our resort, the Caribbean Beach Resort.

After we checked in (we were lucky enough to get a room that was already ready!), we headed over to Epcot.

One of the first things we did was head on over to the Epcot Character Spot. There wasn't much of a wait so we hopped in line to see Mickey, Pluto, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Chip and Dale, and Alice! It was great timing, too, because it started raining pretty heavily after we got in line.

That second picture of Chip and Dale has a story behind it. They saw that Ashlyn was wearin ga "It's My Birthday" button and they had all the people around sing "Happy Birthday" to her. :) It was really cute. Aaron knows Chip is one of my favorites and even made me get pictures with them, too. :) After we saw everyone, we headed over to The Living Seas with Nemo and Friends. We rode the Nemo ride and saw Turtle Talk with Crush.

Next we headed over to the World Showcase to see all the country pavilions. Our main goal was to go to Morocco because that's where Jasmine and Aladdin meet. Ashlyn is obsessed with Jasmine right now but she was cranky and hungry when we ran into them so we didn't get a good picture. :( We did get good pictures of Ashlyn and the friend she made while waiting in line, though. :)

This little girl is from Brazil and even asked Ashlyn "Would you like to come to Brazil to my house?" :) It was really sweet. We ran into her and her family once or twice again that day, too, and even were able to ride the Three Caballeros ride in Mexico together.

For dinner we went to Via Napoli. It's in the Italian pavilion, but I'm sure you've guessed that. :) We had a pizza with artichokes and truffle oil (I can't remember what it was called right now) and all three of us loved it!

Here's another cute little picture we took. We got a few good ones right here but we liked Little Miss Attitude. :) She was super happy, just goofing around. :)

We walked around a little more before getting seats for the night show, Illuminations. It was the first time we've seen it and it was wonderful!

I'll be making another post soon about our next day at Disney's Hollywood Studios!

  1. I love all the pictures with the characters the most! I wonder if Dawson will go see them by himself... When we did the Autism Walk a week or so ago he didn't want anything to go with the Toys R Us giraffe. He knows the Disney characters a lot better, though.
    Looks like so much fun!
