We're Baaaaack!

Some of you (okay, probably most of you) knew that we were out in the Jacksonville, FL area house hunting this past week. Well, we found a house that is darn near perfect for our little family and we hope to close mid-July! If it appraises well and both parties agree to any changes made, we have it! We will keep you updated. Please keep us in your prayers that it all works out!

Our trip was nice. Ashlyn was so excited because she got to see a lot of animals (and we didn't even go to the zoo!), planes, trains, and even a helicopter! They were doing rescue drills in the water right outside our hotel on base.

One day we walked down the little bridge/trail thing between the two hotels on base. Ashlyn loved looking at the pinecones.


She did have an incident, though. She was running in the grass and fell in a big pile of them. Her legs were all scratched up. :( Poor thing! She brushed it off, though, and kept going! She's a tough little thing when she wants to be! Anyway, when we got to the end by the water, we took a few cool pictures. Here's a couple.


Aaron also spotted some manatees hanging out just off the shoreline! It was really cool. We took a few pictures but we mainly only saw their backs (there were two of them) and sometimes we saw their noses pop up.


I also wanted to share a couple of pictures from a couple of weeks ago. There was a Mother/Daughter Tea Party a couple of weeks ago that Ashlyn and I were able to go to. We had a lot of fun and a photographer was there to, well, take pictures! She dropped off the CD of our pictures while we were gone and left it in our door frame, but our friend who stopped by to check on Ali brought it in for us. They turned out really well!! Here are my favorite two.


Isn't Ashlyn gorgeous? We're going to have our hands full with that one.

Well, I guess we have a very busy month ahead of us with packing out and making sure everything goes smoothly with the house
