Random Photographing! (Anyone catch the iCarly reference? Anyone....?)

Welcome to our last installment of "The Mumpowers Go To Disney!" We just wanted to share with you a few random pictures from our adventures.

Okay, so when you go to any Disney park, there are two photos you HAVE to take, like, by law. Well, maybe not, but they're pretty standard pictures and are always beautiful. You've already seen our family picture in front of the castle. It is now our profile pic, too. The other picture is in front of the park by the giant, floral Mickey head!

And I had to include the close-up, too, because they are just too darn cute!

Remember yesterday when I talked about the ducks that came right up to us in a little deserted seating area by the castle? We took some other very pretty pictures over there. This was during one of Ashlyn's naps so we got a beautiful picture of our little Sleeping Beauty.

Here is a picture of me, obviously. :)

And here is my very handsome husband in front of the Tomorrowland side of our hideaway.

Someone was nice enough to take a family picture of us by Cinderella's well.

I thought this "pumpkin" by Mickey's Toontown Fair (there were two of them) was really cool.

The Emporium (a store on Main Street) always has different scenes in their windows. They change it whenever Disney is releasing a new movie or a new season/holiday is coming up. They had a lot of cool, moving scenes for different Disney movies like Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, etc. We took pictures of all the windows, but here are the Halloween windows.

See that Mickey pumpkin in the bottom left corner of Mickey's picture below? We bought one of those. It's a little bucket and says "Trick or Treat" on the back. Ashlyn's going to have it to go trick-or-treating with on Halloween! She also has a cute little flashlight to play with, but we'll take pictures of all that on Saturday. :)

Well, unfortunately, our visit was coming to an end. The park closed early due to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party starting. We're planning on going to that (or the party at Disneyland, depending on which coast we will be on/closest to!) in a few years when Ashlyn is old enough to care about trick-or-treating and can stay up later without freaking out. :) This year, though, it was pretty good that the park closed a little early (7pm) because that is Ashlyn's bedtime. It forced us to leave and get her to bed on time. It was perfect. On our way out, Aaron took some pictures of us girls in front of a few of the scarecrows. We know Ashlyn's a little blurry, but we like it because you can see how excited and happy she was.

And ever since we decided we were going in October, I wanted to get a picture of the "See Ya Real Soon!" pumpkins. (They may be a little hard to see in the small picture, but you can always click on it to enlarge it if you'd like.)

Well, that's it for this trip. :( But, there will be PLENTY more Disney trips in the future and we will be posting here in a few days all about our Halloween! Have a fabulous day.

  1. Once again great pictures! I love the one of Ashlyn sleeping with the castle in the background!

And I hope you guys end up on the west coast (and I hope we stay on the west coast!) then maybe we could meet at Disneyland one year! :-)
