Around the World in a Day (Part 1)

We were able to go down to Disney (Epcot, to be exact) for a day and meet an internet Disney friend of mine this past Tuesday!  It was a lot of fun and Ashlyn was able to meet a lot of characters!  There are a lot of pictures, so I'm breaking it down into two posts.  Let's go!

Pretty much as soon as we walked into Epcot, we saw a couple of characters, so we hopped in line.  We saw Daisy first and then Stitch.

It was sweet because they both twirled her around.  :)

She also saw some princesses.

Last time we were at Epcot, we made it a point to see Aladdin and Jasmine.  Jasmine was one of Ashlyn's absolute favorite princesses at the time (it changes day to day) but when we got up there, she was scared and shy and didn't want anything to do with them.  Come to find out, we think she was just scared of Aladdin (because he's a boy).  She was the same this time, but she did take great pictures with Jasmine.  Aladdin was awesome, though, because after she took pictures with Jasmine, he slowly tried to make friends with her with things like "how about a small high five?"  After Ashlyn did that he said "Now how about a big high five?"  Then it went to kiss on the cheek, small hug, big hug.  He really was great with her.

At one point we found ourselves right next to Mary Poppins and there was no line!  So we had to say hi to her (and Ashlyn got a kiss).

During this time we found out Alice would be meeting guests right next to where Mary was.  Not sure if you've noticed yet, but she was dressed as Alice, so we had to wait!  We were the first in line.  Ashlyn got a kiss from her, too.

We rode the Finding Nemo ride and took some cute pictures afterward.  Ashlyn was "grrr"ing (like a shark, apparently).
