You've Got A Friend In Me

There is a little story I'd like to share with you. It makes me laugh to think about how before Ashlyn was born we worried about whether Ali would be okay with a baby in the house. Ashlyn's been very cranky lately because she is getting quite a few teeth in . Today and yesterday have been particularly bad. She's also just getting over a bad case of diaper rash. So it has not been a happy couple of days for the poor girl (though her diaper rash is pretty much gone now).

So when Ashlyn's teeth have been hurting her really bad these past two days and it was too soon for us to give her any more Baby Orajel, she would cry and cry and cry. :( It was really hard to see her so unhappy. But even during these long bouts of crying, God showed us how lucky we are. Once yesterday and once today, during the worst crying, Ali would come up to Ashlyn, "talk" to her, and put her paw on her arm like she was trying to comfort her. It was just the sweetest thing and we feel so blessed that they have gotten along so well from day 1.
