Updates!

It has been a wonderful couple of days. Aaron has been off and Ashlyn has been in a wonderful mood. Today I put her down for some tummy time and she did great. She decided she wanted to play with the AV receiver that was next to her and she scooted herself around to get to it. She is definitely getting better at moving around, even if it is just in circles for now.

She also was extra cute in her little outfit today. A friend of ours got some clothes from her friend but they didn't quite fit her daughter, so she passed them on to us. One of the outfits was super cute and had Minnie Mouse on it, so she knew it would be perfect for Ashlyn. I don't know why, it's not like I like Disney or anything. :) Anyway, she definitely was very cute and I had to share some pictures of her in it.

She kept playing with her feet so you can't really see how cute the pants are, but that's okay. You can also see that she is getting a little chubby again, which means she's gearing up for another growth spurt! She is also learning to perfect her waving. She waves at us all the time now and sometimes even waves at pictures of us.

Aaron is in the process of OTEIP'ing, which stands for Overseas Tour Extension Incentive Program. This basically means that we will stay here in Cuba for an extra year in exchange for one of the incentive packages they offer (aka the extra 30 days of leave Aaron is probably going to choose). It isn't a sure deal yet, but Aaron is in the middle of paperwork as we speak. We will keep you all updated as we find stuff out. An extra year might also mean round-trip tickets for all 3 of us to Jacksonville which would make it cheaper for us to get to... oh, I don't know... California or something. :) But nothing is final yet and we're still learning all the details.

Aaron finished his first class at American Military University. It was an Introduction to Online Learning class and he got an A! Yay! He just started his second class which is Web Studies and his girls know he'll do great. He is going for a degree in IT Management.

Well, now you are all caught up on us for now! Have a fabulous evening and we'll check in soon!
