A Shell of a Good Time!

Saturday morning we had gone snorkeling with a few friends before heading over to another friend's house (where we took the pictures we put up that day). As of June 1st, it is conch season. Aaron dove down about 30 feet and picked one off the bottom of the ocean! You can take your shells to this guy, Chris, who cleans them up for you and makes them look really, really nice. We are picking up the one Aaron found tomorrow, but before that Chris gave an extra one to Aaron. Ali sure seemed to like it!


Aaron worked the past couple of days and not much has happened at home. I've mainly been catching up on housework after our super busy week! But we went out to dinner tonight and then over to the NEX just to pick up a few things. Since Ashlyn is exactly average in her length, she outgrows her feetie pajamas at a normal pace. So we went to go get some 9-12 month pj's for her since her little toes are starting to get squished in her 6-9 month ones. They looked so big when I picked them up that I couldn't believe our little girl would be able to fit in them! Aaron picked Ashlyn up from out of the cart and sure enough, it is only a tiny bit too big. :( She's growing up way too fast. So they are going in the wash tomorrow and she'll be in her new pj's that night.

Speaking of the dinner we went to, we put Ashlyn in the high chair for the first time! We took the shopping cart cover that Georgia made and covered the high chair with it. It was so cute and she was such a big girl! We wish we had a picture, but we didn't take the camera with us. Next time we will take a picture.

At the NEX we bought some foam floor mats for Ashlyn. She wasn't getting enough traction on the fluffy blankets we used as her play mats, and the rug attracts cat fur like no other, so we thought these would be perfect. Unfortunately they only had blue, but that's okay! I don't think she'll mind very much.

Well, sorry for just a couple of pictures today. We will be taking more pictures of Ashlyn in her new pj's and on her new play area tomorrow and I will be posting them on Friday since she will be turning 9 months old on Friday!!! Ahhhh!!!
